When checking out a new church it is helpful to get some background on what to expect before you get there. It helps to tone down those initial first time visitor jitters. What to Expect...

1. EXPECT A HUG. - We can't help it; just comes natural to us. Most likely one or more persons will try to give you a hug. Don't fight it, Dont' be offended, just receive.

2. CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP. - Some folks raise their hands, others don't - Your choice.
You are also welcome to try-out for the praise team. Selection process is based on more than a good singing voice.

3. CASUAL DRESS. You are welcome to wear what makes you comfortable, just remember, you are in church. You might feel a little overdressed if you wear a suit, but if that is where you are comfortable, wear it. Pastor will probably be wearing blue jeans.

4. THE MESSAGE is about Jesus Christ - Nuff said!

5. OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE. We find many people are looking for an avenue to serve the Lord and one another. In a small church setting there is ample opportunity to help out from mowing the grass, to teaching the children, to teaching in the pulpit.

WARNING - DO NOT ASSUME! - just because someone is filling a position that does not mean that position is not available to you. Many of us are wearing several hats and were just taking care of things until you get here.

6. LAST THINGS. We are a very practical group of believers; no frills, no hype, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. So we invite you to come check us out and come grow with us.
